India's "Salt March" to Independence

We all have people we look up to; sports figures, musicians, grandparents, etc, but what is it that makes these people important to us?

In 1999 Time Magazine got together a bunch of different people (historians, newspaper writers, College Professors, etc.) and asked them to come up with a list of who they think the most important people of the 20th Century were. 

The main purpose of the first have of page is to discuss that very thing.  The below pdf’s are the worksheets we will be using.
